20 Years Serving the Legal Industry

Intelligent Discovery Management was established to provide full-service, project management driven discovery services to law firms. IDM's origins date to the early 1990's when, as International Data Management, IDM developed one of the first offshore coding facilities.

IDM clients include many of AmLaw 100 law firms as well as smaller firms who appreciate our consultative approach, experienced project management, full-service eDiscovery solutions, and reliable data processing.

IDM Corporate History

1992

International Data Management (IDM) Corporation established
Cathy Frazier hired as first employee
Cathy Frazier travels to Manila - trains coding operators and establishes protocols

1992 - 1999

Cathy Frazier travels to Manila at least twice a year
LIT, New York is the sole distributor of IDM's coding services, Ken Krebs is the Operations Manager at LIT, New York

1998 - 1999

IDM offers coding services directly to law firms in Los Angeles and New York City
IDM adds scanning department in Los Angeles

2000

IDM is sold to Fidelity National Financial

2001

Ken Krebs joins IDM in New York

2002

New York office adds two employees

2003

Fidelity spins off Litigation Support department into a separate business unit
IDM launches eDiscovery practice

2005

IDM partners with Catalyst Repository Systems for hosting services
Julie Hunter joins IDM

2006

June 28, 2006 Fidelity closes Litigation Support business unit
June 29, 2006 Cathy Frazier & Ken Krebs launch Intelligent Discovery Management (IDM)

2007

IDM is named a Finalist in the NY LegalTech Litigation Services/Consultants category

2008

Stephanie Gwozdz joins IDM
IDM partners with Kiersted Systems in Houston for eDiscovery processing

2009

Collin Bentley joins IDM
IDM adds Legal Staffing and permanent placement operation - Sight

2010

Intelligent Discovery launches its Forensic Services Department
