IDM enjoys a unique relationship with our managed coding facility in Manila, Philippines. Established in 1990, our coding facility is directed by a Coding Manager and Coding Project Managers each with over 15 years of experience in coding Legal, Financial, Medical, and Real Estate documents. Coding Project Managers oversee the smooth completion of each project and are in daily contact with your stateside IDM Expert who communicates important information and questions to you.
Document coding is performed using proprietary workflow and coding systems with extensive built-in quality controls that assure coding accuracy rates of 98% per field. Security – IDM has never experienced a security breach during nearly two decades of coding. Document images are transferred utilizing a monitored SSL File Transfer Protocol and files are removed immediately after download. At the facility, entry is controlled through security monitored entrances, key card access to the coding area, and employment of permanent non-rotating staff. Every member of the coding staff signs Confidentiality Agreement at employment and for specific matters upon request.Experience – All permanent Document Coders are college graduates, have passed English fluency testing, receive extensive training, and receive annual refresher courses on legal coding. Quality Control staff and Unitization personnel must have a minimum of three years' experience in legal coding prior to joining their work teams.

- On-line batching identifies Begin Document, End Document, Attachment Relationships and Document Type without keying
- Documents are batched by Document Type for greater accuracy and consistency
- Proprietary code-from-image software allows coders to zoom in on illegible text for greater accuracy
- Every document is 100% quality controlled at a field level before the batch of documents receives an additional audit. If an individual batch does not pass audit, every page is reviewed and corrected prior to delivery
